Why is our foundation important to the students and educators of our district?

    • Colorado ranks in the bottom ten states in the nation for K-12 spending per $1,000 of personal income.
    • The challenging economic climate has limited the money available to fund public schools.

•The Cherry Creek School District is one of the highest achieving school districts in the state. Cherry Creek Schools students consistently score well above state averages on the Transitional Colorado Assessment Program (TCAP) tests and above state and national averages on SAT and ACT exams.
•The district average graduation rate is 87% compared to the state average of 77% and the national average of 78.2%. The graduation rate for all ethnic groups in Cherry Creek Schools tops 80%. The Class of 2014 earned more than $54 million in scholarships.
